I was born in Nuoro and live in Olbia with my family. I trained at the Istituto Statale d'Arte in Nuoro, graduating in 1989. After a long time away from anything artistic, I bought my first camera in 2012 — but it was only in February 2024 that I began working at photography in earnest: experimenting, and searching through the image. I'm self-taught, and an amateur in the older sense of the word. I work for a public institution.
